PortfolioDesk V 1.0 is a small graphical
desktop program that puts some comfort
and easy to use "icons" on the Portfolio
screen. 

All you need are the files DESK.BAT and
#DESKTOP.COM. The other files have been 
included to demonstrate the use of the 
DESK and external programs through the
batch file. Put all files in a directory
and run DESK - the applications are in-
voked by pressing the _underlined_ key.
To leave PF-Desk press (x) on the main
desk.

In this version the icon prompts are in
german, but this shouldn't be much of a
problem. Later versions may also contain
"english-icons", more desks (UTILITY,
PRINT, TERMINAL, etc.).

that PF-Desk will run on your machine.
He can't be made responsible for any 
damage or data loss in conjunction with
this software !

This version of PF-Desk does NOT support
the power saving routine. Your Portfolio
will NOT power down automatically while
you use the program. 
Please use the <Fn><O> switch !

PF-Desk has been written in Assembler
using Borlands Turbo Assembler. Please
understand that future versions depend
on the feedback, ideas and wishes of PF
