Portfolio Peaks Version 1.0 Copyright 1993 - Tony Yeung Portfolio Peaks is a solitaire card game. The object of the game is to accumulate points by removing cards from the playing area. The game uses a standard deck of cards. The suits of the cards are not shown on the screen due to screen limitations. Run: Points scored since the last flip from the deck STotl: Session point total Games: Games played this session SAvg: Average points per game for this session Use the space bar to remove a card from the Play Area. The card can only be removed if the card preceeds or follows the current card on the Discard Pile. In Portfolio Peaks, the King precedes the Ace which precedes the Two. Each card you remove from the Play Area scores points. The number of points awarded depends on the number of cards removed since you last drew from the Deck. The first card is worth one point; the second, two points; the third, three points and so on. Clearing a card from the top row scores bonus points. The first two are worth 15 points and clearing the Play Area scores 30 points. You can use the 'R' key to redeal at any point. However, there is a five point penalty for each card remaining in the Play Area. This still might be better than losing five points for each additional card drawn from the Deck.
