GRAB2PGF for the Atari Portfolio ================================ (Date: 14th December 1995) WARNING: I accept no liability for any damage (especially the loss of data) which may result from the use of this software. program description ------------------- GRAB2PGF is a graphics screen capture utility for the Atari Port- folio palmtop computer. procedure: 1. Being run once, it will install itself in memory as a TSR-program. 2. Run whatever program of which you wish to capture the graphics. 3. You can now save several screens to the current directory by pressing . The created files are named "SCREENx.PGF", where x is a character starting from 0. Earlier screenshots that are still present in that directory are being overwritten. You should limit the number of screenshots to 10, because the file- names could otherwise become strange or even cause errors. Also, do not hold down for a very long time as this could lock up the Portfolio. 4. Run GRAB2PGF again to remove it from memory. 5. Process the .PGF-files. A .PGF-file contains a direct copy of the Portfolio's video RAM (B800h:0 to B800h:77Fh). There's a couple of programs which support this file format, e.g. SPAINT, PGFWHOW, CGASHOW or PGEDIT. Copyright --------- GRAB2PGF is freeware. It may be used and copied freely.
