   This is a Communications & File Transfer utility to be used
   as a handy terminal for your BBS or Electronic-Mail needs
   while you are on a business/recreational trips. It has user
   friendly menus and file capture feature. It can D/U-Loads
   any binary/Ascii file Fm/To-Host or another computer using
   XMODEM-CheckSum protocol with 1200/300 baud.

   Program also Up-Loads Ascii-Text file with 1200/300 baud and
   Dn-Loads with 300 baud using ASCII protocol (NO PROTOCOL..).

   Program has File-Capture feature to save the contents of a
   terminal communications session or an Ascii-Text file while
   downloading with 1200 baud.

   F5 ......... Appending   Mode for file capturing. (Toggle)
   Shift+F5 ... OverWritten Mode  "    "      "         "

   Program has 100 lines (100x38 characters) scrollback feature
   to monitor a terminal communications session.

   F8 ......... Displays Buffer-Content.
   Shift+F8 ... Clears     "      "

   Communications parameters; 1200/300, N/O/E, 8/7, 1/2.

2> DIRECT-FILE-TRANSFER-MODE: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

   Program can send/receive any text/binary file from/to another
   computer (Portfolio or PC..) using 3-wire serial cable via
   serial interface. For this option; you must use 'PCOM.EXE' on
   both side. Because it uses special batch file transferring
   protocol named as 'MEK-Protocol'. This method makes possible
   file transferring with the exact file size. Any wildcard
   characters may be used for batch transferring.

   Communications parameters; 2400/1200, N, 8, 1.

3> SETUP-MODE: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

   Program parameters may be changed in accordance with your
   hardware requirements or with remote computer/BBS software
   and be saved as PCOM.INI file. Such as;

   - Baud-Rate ..... 2400 / 1200 / 300
   - Parity ........ (N)one / (O)dd / (E)ven
   - Data-Bits ..... 8 / 7
   - Stop-Bits ..... 1 / 2
   - Echo .......... (L)ocal / (R)emote / (B)oth / (N)one

   and the other settings are as follows;

   - Dial-Prefix-String, Hang-Up-String, Auto-Answer-String.

   - Dial-Phone-#, Macro-Keys-1..4 (F1..F4), Capture-File-Name.

   - This program has been designed to be used on ATARI's palmtop
     computers named PORTFOLIO (R).

   - This program has been coded in C language and compiled
     using BORLAND's Turbo C compiler.

   - This program has been compressed using PKWARE's PKLITE.EXE
     and archived by PKZIP.EXE.
