Preserve minimum of 70 kB for DOS by using FDISK on drive C: Use the Atari-Parallel-Interface for the PrintManager DIARY Output Option. *********** Main Features ************ Mini-digital-display the date and time implemented to show Date and Time in the PortfolioDesk Headline. Set time and date by DOS-command is implemented on PortfolioDesk. Start the internal Applications from PortfolioDesk and return to Desk. Start external Applications from PortfolioDesk and return to Desk. Start external user-defined batch-files from PortfolioDesk and return to Desk. PowerManagement to save battery power. Only activated when in PortfolioDesk! Portfolio Powers-Up by Space-Key. Diary Output to Printer at parallel Interface. Only the file "diary.dry" in c:\system (max. size 4 kB) will be printed. The filenames $...xxx are used by the PortfolioDesk and will be manipulated by this program. Check this up by using DIR before you install and start the PortfolioDesk application. The PortfolioDesk application generates itīs own initial-file "desk.ini" placed in c:\system. Donīt manipulate and hack this file, otherwise the PortfolioDesk will crash. Troubleshooting in case of crashing the PortfolioDesk with a destroyed "desk.ini": delete the file and start the PortfolioDesk without a "desk.ini". This Animation is used too by PowerDown and PowerUp in PortfolioDesk. *** DeInstall of the PortfolioDesk *** Delete the file "desk.ini" in c:\system and remove the home-directory of PortfolioDesk Known Problems in this Release ============================== The Low-Battery-Power-Function of the ATARI Portfolio is not implemented in the PortfolioDesk. The control of this function is by the original portfolio routine.
