WS2ASCII

Wordstar is one of the most popular word-processing packages.
Unfortunately its format is not a "pure" ASCII code.
WS2ASCII is a short but incredibly fast utility that can convert any
Wordstar text into standard ASCII text.
The use is very simple:

SYNTAX: WS2ASCII < filename

where "filename" is the Wordstar document

if the command is issued as follows:

WS2ASCII <filename> fileascii

the whole content of the Wordstar file will be directed into another file
called "fileascii".
